HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

I just spent Mother's Day in Francesville with my Mom and had a wonderful time. On the way home, I thought about the Grandma, who is the reason we all are connected . For me, she was a great Grandma and a good example. Psalm 32: A VIRTUOUS WOMAN. That chapter always makes me feel guilty. Verse 15: "She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls." I can just picture Grandma getting up early, making a big breakfast, kooka bread, I can still smell the bacon. Me.....I hit the snooze a few times and STILL have problems crawling out of bed. Verse 30: Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the is to be praised. Yep that was her. Do you ever think about how God has brought us all together ..........................on purpose. (How's that for deep!) I love you all so much, and hope all had a happy Mother's Day.

  2. I love this picture of Grandma. I remember going to Mom and Dad's for Thanksgiving. She got up early to put 2, yes 2 turkeys in the oven as there was so many of us. Do all of you remember that long table in the utility room? At christmas we would sit aroung that table and eat those peanuts, the ones you had to shell. It made such a mess , but Grandma didn't care. I wish I could be like that and not let the little things bother me. i hope you are all enjoying these blogs that Valerie is so faithful in posting. I will try to comment more.
    Love you all
