Grandpa's Birthday Parties

The top picture was Grandpa's 94th birthday, the middle picture was his 95th and the bottom was his 96th. Top pic - I think that's Clint Steffen sitting by Uncle Glenn. Uncle George is looking down. Don't know the gentleman sitting on the end. Sherm's next to him, and then Grandpa.

I'll never forget the day of Grqndpa's sale. When they put him in the auction truck, to watch them sell, (not sure if that's Stan or Greg sellling) the tears really came. After the sale the house was empty, and we moved him to Parkview Haven in an Apt. in Francesville. He was only in this apt. one month and we had to put him in the nursing area at Parkview. He was so lonely there, but we had no other choice. I remember one day , Marv, came from Minn. to visit him and took him fishing in the pond behind Parkview, and that was a happy day for him. I hope Valerie can post some pictures of some of the good days he was at Parkview.
